Escape now! Something’s coming!
Yesterday I featured some of the lightest room escapes on the seven internets. Today, we’re going to take a turn for the worse.
Much much worse.
Enter Monster Basement, a fiendish room escape game that finds you injured and locked up in a very creepy basement.
Normally waking up in a strange new place is enough to make most panic, but waking to find yourself in this place will make even the most fearless curl up into a ball in the corner. That is it would if the corner wasn’t already occupied by some… thing… in a cage.
Created by Godlimations’ Patrick Majewski, Monster Basement hits you with double helpings of creepiness. Eerie music, demonic voice acting, and things that do more than just go bump in the night make this not only an excellent room escape game but a great horror game.
Definitely not one to be shared with the kiddies, Monster Basement is best played in the dark, with the sound cranked all the way up. Or, if you’re a little skittish, it might be better if you play it in the middle of the day with all the lights on and maybe something nice and cheery playing in the background.
